This title features 36 cards and worksheets designed to encourage thinking and debate. It is a collection of images that portray the best and worst aspects of human activity and its effect on the environment. This interesting and topical subject makes the cards ideal to use as a starting point for discussion, exploration and understanding of the impact our actions have on the world. Topics include: global warming; deforestation; toxic waste; self sufficiency; recycling; flooding; poverty; energy; and transport. The accompanying booklet provides starting points for discussion. It includes a CD-ROM with worksheets for each Colorcard providing the option to print as required. It is printed on environmentally friendly, sustainable material.
